Feeling a little overwhelmed or tense?
This simple 5-minute Reiki-inspired practice can help you slow down, reconnect, and bring your body back to a place of calm.
Find a comfortable place to sit, and allow this to be a quiet moment just for you.
1. Begin with Your Breath: Close your eyes if it feels comfortable. Take three slow, deep breaths—inhaling gently through your nose and exhaling through your mouth. Let each breath soften your body just a little more.
2. Hands Over Heart: Place your hands softly over your heart. Rest here for about a minute, breathing naturally. Notice the warmth of your hands and the steady rhythm beneath them. Let this be a moment of connection with yourself.
3. Shoulders and Release: Gently move your hands to your shoulders. As you breathe, imagine the tension you’ve been carrying slowly loosening. There’s nothing to force—just allow your breath to move through any tightness.
4. Settle and Ground: Bring your hands to your lap. Take one final, slow breath in… and exhale fully. Let yourself feel supported, grounded, and present.
These small, intentional moments can create a noticeable shift. When practiced regularly, they become a simple way to return to yourself—again and again.
